Hello, I’m Jerish Jonath, founder of Grace and Armour.
In late 2024, the idea of starting a Christian clothing brand began stirring in my heart. As I worked on planning and designing the brand, I was also called to a different task — During that time, I was sent on a mission trip to Malbazar, West Bengal, for a church-related assignment,What started as a simple assignment became a life-changing journey. During my time there, I met four incredible people: Jabez, Menuka, Bikki, and Manna — passionate, faith-filled individuals who inspired me deeply. In their company, I saw what real worship looked like. Their dedication, joy, and unwavering faith challenged me and sparked something new within me.
One moment that changed everything was seeing believers worship with such purity — no fancy buildings, no sound systems, just hearts full of love for Jesus. I met Eliya Lima, a missionary leading with humility and strength, praising God even in hardship. And I was moved by Manna, a young girl still in school, yet already a leader in her church, joyfully teaching children and encouraging others.In that space, I heard God’s gentle whisper:
“What are you doing to proclaim My name?”
It was clear. The brand I had been dreaming of wasn’t just mine — it was God’s. And it was meant to do more than sell clothes. It was meant to carry the Gospel. So, we came together — the five of us — and named it Grace and Armour.
Rooted in Ephesians 6:11, we created the tagline:
“Clothed in Grace. Armed with Faith.”
